Snapping at the tail of the Toyota Hachiroku, we have her twin sister, the Subaru BRZ. Not letting Toyota steal the thunder at the Auto Salon, Subaru brought out their STI Concept and a "Black Edition" from Subaru tuning specialist, Prova.
Contrary to what some might think, this is not the same car shown earlier in the LA Motor show. The one shown previously was based off the old FRS showcar's body, with more pronounced body sculptings and sharper edges.
This newer BRZ STI Concept is in fact based on the actual production car, so fingers crossed, we will be seeing these parts on the options list soon.
Optional parts like this delicious carbon fiber bonnet.
And even a Carbon Fiber roof, no harm bringing that already super low center of gravity even lower right?

Yes, Subaru is bringing their BRZ to the racetracks.

A couple of steps away, there was this sexy little black nympho. The "Black Edition" from Prova.
Sporting many orange accents on the metallic black base, some liked the color scheme, so didn't. I loved it. What do you expect? This is the Auto Salon!
They even painted the insides of the wheels orange.

If you ventured off outside the show halls, you will be able to find a rather stock looking BRZ. This BRZ car will belong to one of the show-goers, yes folks, this BRZ was one of the prizes given away during the Auto Salon. Those lucky Japanese folks have it all don't they?
